ABOUT
Sara Gutierrez was our discovery during our trip to Colombia in April 2024. She is a third generation coffee grower. Although initially she studied business and did not think she would take over the family business, she then became passioned about coffee. She qualified as a Q-Grader, studied micro biology and made a case against her father and brother to invest in the production of high quality coffee rather than commercial coffee.
We purchased their entire 2024 harvest of Finca La Helena, a high altitude washed coffee with sweet flavors of milk chocolate and honey and which subtle fruity aromas of lemon and strawberry will seduce you.
This exceptional coffee can be enjoyed in espresso and in filter preparation. We roast for both preparations. Please specify at the time of your order for which preparation you would like the coffee to be used.
For filter preparations, we recommend a preparation with 6.5 grams per cup of 200 ml, grinding medium (7 EK43 grinder) and leaving 2 t o 3minutes to extract in 4 swirls.
